ANSWER

MINISTER OF STATE IN THE MINISTRY OF HOME AFFAIRS (SHRI KIREN RIJIJU)

(a) to (d): In the event of ceasefire violations/cross border firing, the farming activities along the International Border (IB)/Line of Control (LOC) are temporarily affected. The farmers resume their normal farming activities after the firing/shelling stops. There is no provision for payment of compensation on account of crop loss due to such incidents in the State Relief Rules of Jammu & Kashmir State. However, Border Security Force (BSF) render assistance by way of providing food and medical help periodically.
