THE MINISTER OF AYUSH (SHRI SARBANANDA SONOWAL)
(a) to (c): At present, there are no approved proposals for establishing Central Research Institutes of Yoga and Naturopathy (CRIYNs) anywhere in the country. Ministry of Ayush is promoting, propagating and strengthening the system of Naturopathy by multiple interventions through its two Autonomous Bodies namely Central Council for Research in Yoga & Naturopathy (CCRYN), New Delhi and National Institute of Naturopathy (NIN), Pune.
(d): Ministry of Ayush is implementing the Centrally Sponsored Scheme of the National AYUSH Mission (NAM) through States/UTs and providing financial assistance to them for development & promotion of Ayush systems as per the proposals submitted by them in their respective State Annual Action Plans (SAAPs) in accordance with the NAM guidelines. Under NAM, Ministry of Ayush has approved a 50 bedded Integrated Ayush Hospital at Balasore District during the year 2019-20 as per the proposal submitted by Government of Odisha through SAAP. An amount of Rs. 60.00 lakhs has been released as Central share to the State Government of Odisha for the same. Implementation of the approved activities of SAAP comes under the purview of respective State Governments. ***
