DRINKING WATER AND SANITATION be pleased to state:-


(a) the details of the funds incurredsince 2014 on the information, educationand dissemination pertaining to themanagement of menstrual hygiene, yearwiseand State-wise;

(b) the details of the funds releasedand incinerators set up in schools from thefunds earmarked for Solid and Liquid WasteManagement since 2014 onward, year-wiseand State-wise;

(c) the details of the funds allocatedand utilized for menstrual hygienemanagement under the Swachh BharatMission (Gramin) since 2017 onward,State-wise and year-wise; and

(d) the details of the monitoringmechanism put in place to ascertain thepersons benefited from the above as wellas to assess the impact thereof?

(a) The details of expenditure on the information, educationand dissemination pertaining to themanagement of menstrual hygieneis not available. However, State/UT-wise, Central share expenditure on Information Education and Communication (IEC) under Swachh Bharat Mission (Gramin) since 2014-15 is at Annexure-1.

(b) Under Swachh Bharat Mission (Gramin), separate component-wise funds (for e.g. for Solid and Liquid Management) are not released. State Govts take a decision in this regard. Details of incinerators installed in school is therefore not available at Ministry level.

(c) Under Swachh Bharat Mission (Gramin), component-wise funds are not allocated and released.

(d) Ministry does not monitor the details of incinerators installed in school.
