(a) & (b): RailTel Corporation of India Limited (RCIL), a Public Sector Undertaking (PSU) under Ministry of Railways, is providing free Wi-Fi services at Railways Stations. Wi-Fi Services have been provided at 755 stations as on 31st January 2019 as indicated in the Appendix. An average of about 2.9 Crores users are using this free Wi-Fi services during a month and the total aggregate data consumed per month has been more than 10,000 Terabytes (TB). (c) & (d): RCIL is in the process of providing free Wi-Fi services at additional 796 Railway stations across the country. *****
