Favourite pastime, and recreation:  Reading, gardening, sightseeing and fine arts.

Special interests:  Social service and upliftment of people of rural and tribal areas. 

Sports and clubs:  Badminton, Carrom and Volleyball.

Travels abroad:  U.K., West Germany, Italy, France, Ghana, Senegal, Mauritius, North Korea, Hong Kong, China and U.S.A.
