Kamala Giri, 1939; 4 s. and 6 d.; Social Worker; previously associated with Hyderabad State Congress, Congress Socialist Party, Socialist Party and Praja Socialist Party; Organising Secretary, Nizam State Railway Employees' Union; President, (i) Hind Mazdoor Sabha, 1966-69, (ii) Sugar Factory Mazdoor Sabha since 1948, (iii) State Unit of H.M.S. since 1959, (iv) Hindustan Aeronautics Workers' Union, 1966-71; and (v) South Central Railway Mazdoor Union; Vice-President, All India Railwaymen Federation, 1967-70 and All India Hind Mazdoor Sabha since 1969; Member of several State Government Committees; imprisoned several times for political and trade union activities.
Social activities.—Trustee of the Temple in Secunderabad and President of Meru Sangh, Secunderabad.
Hobbies.—Music particularly Tabla, Hockey and Photography.
